How to enable search description meta tag in blogger for better page rank

Enabling search description tag in your blog will  help search engines rank your site better. In this post i gonna teach you how to take optimize your search description tag for better ranking.


-Sign in to your blogger account and click on Settings , Basic. Add your site title and description and save changes.

Under Settings again click on search preferences: 
You can click on the image to make it bigger.

Edit the description meta tag and add the same description you added in the basic description settings.

At the top of the box you will see Enable Search Description? Click yes and save changes.

Now let me teach you how to optimize your posts description:
Now that you have enabled the search description for your site, it is going to appear when ever you want add a new post at the right site of the screen just after location.

When ever you finish writing and article, just click on the search description and add a short description of your post in the box. Make sure every words in your post title appear in your short description for better position in search engines. Then click on done. You are good to go.
